Blueberry Hill Farm
Blueberry Hill Farm is a new operation. Planting began in the spring of 2011. We now have 1 1/2 acres in cultivation with about 1500 plants. Five varieties of blueberry plants, all with different harvest times, give us a long season. Harvest begins the middle of June and continues through the third week of September. Our strains in order of maturity; Blue Ray, Blue Crop, Jersey, Elliot, and Powder Blue.
Our little farm is located four miles from Spruce Pine, NC and one mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway at mile 327.5. The elevation is 2800 feet, with warm days and cool nights, a good environment for blueberry production.
